Etude House Moistfull White Cream Review

Etude House Moistfull White Cream

Hello Everyone :)

Today I will be reviewing one of the creams from Etude House's Moistfull Skincare Collection, the Moistfull White Cream. Other creams in this range include Moistfull Collagen Cream (orange jar), Moistfull Flower Cream (pink jar) and Moistfull Aloe Soothing Cream (green/blue jar).

I bought this product a while ago and I just started my second jar so I thought, why not write a review xD If you've read my About Me section, you'd know that I'm a sucker for cute packaging.

Description

"Moistfull White is formulated with Baobab Tree, Niacinamide and Rose Hip Oil to supply brightening moisture care. Facial cream fosters smooth, bright complexion with soft texture and brightening beads."

  • Baobab Tree is supposed to help with moisturising, improving skin elasticity and encourages the regeneration of skin cells
  • Niacinamide helps to whiten and brighten the skin
  • Rose Hip Oil is known to help repair sun-damaged skins and prevent premature wrinkles.
For a full list of ingredients, see the picture below.

The product comes in a frosted white glass jar with a spatula for scooping the cream out.

The cream itself has a very soft floral scent, not at all overbearing and disappears after it's fully absorbed into your skin. Texture wise, it has a gel like texture and is soothing to the skin, almost leaving a cooling effect. You can't really tell from the photos but there are also smaller white beads in the cream that burst and blend in with the cream when you apply it. It takes a bit longer to fully absorb than other creams, around 5-10 mins. I used to use this day and night but because I'm always rushing to leave the house in the mornings, I sometimes skip this step.

I've also found that this cream is a bit too heavy to use in the Summer as it usually leaves a sticky film after applying it although this is perfect for the Winter right now. During Summer, I usually leave it in the fridge so that it's cool and refreshing when applied.

All in all, the cream is highly moisturising which I love and leaves my skin very soft and bouncy, especially in the mornings. While I haven't really noticed any drastic whitening effects, it does a very good job at brightening my skin. I would recommend this cream for all skin types (mine is combination-oily in Summer, dry in Winter) and for people who have dull skin and want to brighten their complexion.

Pros

  • Relatively cheap for a cream (around AUD$20)
  • Very moisturising
  • Brightens skin
  • Smells heavenly

Cons

  • Leaves a thin, sticky film after applying
  • Takes a bit long to absorb (5-10mins)
